Our Gothtober Calendar has officially begun, and we’re thrilled to present Lily Adams as our inaugural artist of the year! Lily makes their debut as Gothtober’s traditional “First Blood,” offering to the ghosts of Autumn. Every Gothtober, DAY 1 is ALWAYS a new artist, marking their exciting first time contributing to the calendar.
Lily’s piece is mysterious and dark—it demands close attention. You’ll need to listen carefully to catch every unsettling detail and subtle shade of this film short. You may or may not hear some… disappointment about house chores. We’re beyond excited to have Adams kick off this chilling and macabre month (and also for temperatures to not be so viciously hot in the 100s any longer in Los Angeles, phew!)
This is Lenore Colina’s very first Gothtober piece in her whole entire life, and danged if it didn’t give us the heebie-jeebies. Come on, we’ve been here seven years now—this is our 8th—and we’ve seen a lot of creepy stuff!
