It\u2019s Halloween, and it\u2019s fast approaching.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Gothtober Calendar counts down to this wondrous holiday with 31 days of music, video, animation, recipes, crafts and other assorted art goodies. It\u2019s like an advent calendar for Halloween! Starting at midnight on October 1, a new piece by a different artist will be revealed each day.<\/p>\n<p>Gothtober\u2019s theme for 2010 is the HAUNTED BOOMBOX. According to the site\u2019s Head Candycorn, Julianna Parr, it\u2019s \u201can ode to ghosts of music past, sounds from beyond the grave, audible nightmares and melted mix tapes.\u201d While she isn\u2019t about to give away all of the spooky surprises that await, viewers can savor gems from years gone by, including:<\/p>\n<p>2007, Day 15: Lori Meeker&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wZ2tPc9hbho&amp;feature=player_profilepage\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The Mummy!&#8221;<\/a>\u2014the crustiest Casanova this side of the River Nile<\/p>\n<p>2005, Day 28: Furry friends star in \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=62-9WjXuUr4\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Hello Frankenstein&#8221;<\/a> by D.R.
